At Laminar, we focus on only producing 100% Vitrified Tiles. Vitrified Tiles are defined as Tiles having water absorption of less than 0.08%. Tiles that absorb less water, are less porous and more dense; effective lasting up to 4 times more than non-vitrified solutions. That is the difference between Vitrified Tiles lasting up to 20 years vs non-vitrified Tiles lasting up to 5(1). Laminar uses state-of-the-art technology, highest quality inks and glazes from Spain & Italy respectively, and a comprehensive quality control system including a sizer-planar from Appel Italy to ensure that every tile is 100% Vitrified and worthy of the space it is installed in.
In addition to its World-Class designs, Laminar offers a variety of surfaces aimed at providing solutions to different customer issues. Apart from its Matt, Glossy/Polished, Matt Carving & High-Gloss surfaces, Laminar offers the customized Grip9 High Grip surface for preventing slipping in terraces/parking. Our Full Body tiles are ideal for areas with high foot traffic and come pre-moulded with gripped edges for staircases. The Eterna surface is anti-skid and is nigh-impossible to scratch (except, with a Diamond) whereas Velvetto Matt offers a soft touch that’s easy to clean. Each surface is crafted to meet our consumers needs and assist them in elevating their spaces.
