Why Vitrified: Vitrified Tiles have a water absorption of less than 0.08%. i.e., they are 99.92% water-proof. Vitrified Tiles that absorb less water, are less porous and denser. Vitrified tiles last up to 4 times longer than non-vitrified tiles(1). If non-vitrified tiles last 2-3 years, vitrified tiles can last over 10 years.
Design Process: Laminar’s designs often originate in nature. Scanners in Italy capture designs from natural stones, woods, and other patterns to create timeless designs that elevate any space they occupy. These designs are then tweaked to match the Nepalese palette to create tiles worthy of your space.
Solutions Offered: Each space has its own demands. At Laminar, we offer 9+ surfaces and over 400 designs to make sure we can meet the demands of every space. Each surface and design is meticulously crafted to meet consumers needs. Our Matt and Matt Carving surfaces offers subtle sophistication, whereas our Glossy and High-Gloss surface offer a bold, lustrous look. Laminar’s customized Grip9 High Grip surface prevents slipping in terraces & parking while offering natural stone look & feel.
Our Full Body tiles are ideal for areas with high foot traffic and come pre-moulded with gripped edges for staircases. Laminar’s proprietary Eterna surface is anti-skid, doesn’t fade (8x PEI 5) and is nigh-impossible to scratch (except, with a Diamond). Our ALF surface and velvetto surfaces offer brilliant shine and a soft touch with minimal maintenance.
Quality Assurance: Laminar uses state-of-the-art technology, highest quality inks and glazes from Spain & Italy respectively, and a comprehensive quality control system including a sizer-planar from Appel Italy to ensure that every tile is Fully Vitrified and worthy of the space it is installed in.
